BISTEC ENCEBOLLADO - STEAK AND ONIONS |
Ingredients
Steak and onions is a quick and easy lunch or dinner without a lot of cleanup. Forget the barbeque; all you need is a single skillet, some quality thin cuts of beef, onion, garlic and spice often served with rice and vegetables.

INGREDIENTS
2 thin center-cut beef fillets
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, sliced
2 teaspoon vegetable oil
Ground oregano, cumin, and salt to taste
Cooking Instructions
DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, season filets with garlic, cumin, oregano, and salt. Heat oil in a skillet over medium high. Add filets. Cover for 15 minutes. Turn filets over and saute until cooked and caramelized. Add onions and 1/2 cup water and cover for 5 minutes. Serve with rice.
